  3.0 out of 5 stars The taste is the same as cigarette - but only for non smokers or for ex-smokers

  It does not give the same hit on the throat as tobacco does, but let me tell you this:I was shocked when I took the first puff. I literally even had placebo effects of "dizziness" that comes from tobacco because it tasted 100% the same. (the dizziness hasn't happened ever since then)Now that I was very surprised by the taste, I thought I'll ask my smoker friends to try it once.They both didn't feel anything (no hit) and they didn't feel like they are smoking something either (taste-wise). So I assume that the taste is too soft for a current smoker, but I can with no doubt confirm that this product will satisfy you if you are an ex smoker (Last time I smoked was 3 - 4 years ago)But there is an important problem with this product. It literally sticks to your throat, you can feel it. And the next few days you might feel like you've been smoking for months. I think that they need to adjust their tar levels. My throat got so dry that it started to hurt after I smoked this some consecutive days (even if it was 2 cigarettes per day) I recommend not inhaling it, and just enjoying it in the mouth.It is not a sustainable habit, and seems dangerous to me and the producers say nothing about it. You can't even find the ingredients of the products anywhere. This is why I cannot give it a 4 star review...

  I'm not a heavy smoker however, I enjoy smoking. I like a cigarette with my coffee, when I'm stressed, or even when I'm just having conversation. Then I found out that I have to have surgery. My doctor will not do the surgery if I cannot pass a nicotine test :( so I got a vape with 0 nicotine and it's done nothing for me. I have still been smoking. Then I got these in hopes of being able to quit and still have my little outlet. So far I like them, the people that say they taste like grass, they've clearly never experimented with smoking in college. If you get my drift, that's exactly what the first drag smells and tastes like. I do feel a tad bit lightheaded after smoking them. So far, it's helping me not smoke the real thing. I also read read what I guess it was Times Magazine wrote and it was mainly negative. They stated that they didn't see how anyone could quit this way without the nicotine. That the withdrawals would still be there.. umm Duh! That's our body detoxing. Of course I've had withdrawals. I'm not getting the nicotine my body has had daily for the past 17 years. This is like that blanket that cuddles you when you're having a rough day. I frigging like having a blanket dang it!!! I think this is probably the only logical way to quit smoking. Probably the only way I will be successful. The flavors are hard enough that sensation you need is there. Yeah.. it's not the best tasting or smelling stuff in the world and the smell is strong. It looks and burns just like a cigarette. I would recommend this before I recommended vaping. It satisfies my "need" for a cigarette. I went a full day with just these until my bf bought a pack of cigarettes.. after they were gone, I went back to these and no longer really want the actual nicotine filled cigarettes. Looks like I will be buying more of these soon.

  3.0 out of 5 stars I was smoking almost all day long and I wasn't feeling okay (I was feeling just like when I smoked regular cigarettes)

  I was a smoker for 22 years or and on January 2014, I decided that I had enough and started to search for alternatives, because quitting for me was practically impossible. The way I was able to stop smoking cigarettes was with the use of an electronic cigarette for a year or so... it was okay, but at the end, I was smoking almost all day long and I wasn't feeling okay (I was feeling just like when I smoked regular cigarettes). One day, my automated replenishment shipment of cartridges for the e-cig was delayed and I took it as a sign and decided that I needed to stop once and for all. And I did. That happened on March 10th 2015. But after some months passed, I started to have some cravings about smoking... but had the courage to stay away from smoking again. Until I learned about herbal cigarettes about three months ago... At first, I purchased these for my mom/sister, as a "healthier" alternative, but they didn't like the way these cigarettes taste. After a week or so, having these at my house, I decided to smoke one. I wasn't able to finish it. Surprisingly enough, I didn't cough when I inhaled the first time (after 2 years and a half without inhaling smoke). It was very smooth for my throat, however the taste was indeed too strong (I used to smoke Marlboro Reds). I couldn't stop spitting because of it. Since then... I've smoked four times (one per week or so) and I can't even finish one cigarette. I need to wash my mouth after smoking as the taste it leaves is disgusting. These just aren't for me. I didn't like them.

  I have quit smoking cigarettes about 5 months ago but everyone once in a while, I find myself craving the desire to smoke... something... anything... if only to get the craving out of my system. I saw these green tea cigs and wanted to give them a try.After having 4 of these over two days, my conclusion is that, well, they feel like Marlboro Reds (they're a bit strong) and they don't have any distinct flavor but you do get a good amount of smoke in your lungs, as a normal cig would. So in that sense, they do satisfy the craving but they are harsh and tasteless enough to not make you want to smoke too many of them. A positive is that they don't leave too much smell on your clothes or anything (a bit but not as much as normal cigs).Beware though, even if they don't have tobacco or nicotine, the paper and filter do contain chemicals (as evidenced by the easy burn rate) and you can feel it in the smoke. Smoking these feel like smoking very cheap, knock-off Marlboro Reds. They are made in Vietnam too, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence about the manufacturing process.Conclusion, they're ok if you quit and need to satisfy an occasional craving, but they don't taste or feel very good and the quality seems sketchy at best. In a way, they might help turn you off from cigarettes by reminding you how nasty cigarettes can be.
