This stuff really works!!! But...

5.0 out of 5.0 by michael on January 30, 2018
...it isn't easy if you have deep scratches, or in my case gouges. I don't usually review anything, but I felt I had to in this case.I got my girlfriend a vintage Swatch for Christmas. About a month later, she was carrying a laundry basket up the steps and scraped the watch against the wall, which has a rough surface, like stucco. We thought the watch was trashed. I mean, these scratches were DEEP, and the whole way across the face. We did some research (seperately) & both read about "POLYWATCH". I figured I had nothing to lose, so I ordered a tube. The directions say to polish the watch with pressure for 2-3 minutes, repeating as necessary for deep scratches. Well let me tell you, my scratches were pretty freaking deep. I practiced on a not-too-bad scratch on my own Swatch. I got it out completely after about 3 applications. So I started in on the bad one. I began with cotton balls, then a handkerchief, & then a t-shirt (clean and soft, but not too soft). I put a small bead on the surface and got to work. I swear I used it about 10-12 times. I went in circles (each direction), with the scratces, at a right angle to the scratches (I read that works good, & it seems to). I'll tell you what, when you are vigorously polishing a watch for a minute or two, with pressure, it wears you out after a while. My hand and forearm were cramping up. After those applications, I took a break. I should've taken pictures then. Probably 85-90% of the scratches were gone. Probably good enough for most people. But there were 2 spots that were really deep, and I was determined to get them out at this point. I went back to work, alternating polishing cloths, and polished for probably another 10 times. But I'll be damned, I got them out!!! So, this product DOES work, even for DEEP scratches, but it takes a lot of elbow (or finger) grease. I probably used half the tube, one small bead at a time (it's a pretty small tube), but it's worth every penny when you look at the finished product. I'm a skeptic by nature, and I would've never thought those scratches would come the whole way out. I figured I'd just make it better, but it worked beyond my expectations! But don't take my word for it--look at the pictures. My girlfriend is asleep right now. I can't wait to surprise her with the watch in the morning. It'll probably be better than when I gave it to her on Christmas!
Works (sort of) on eyeglasses

4.0 out of 5.0 by scottalias on June 24, 2017
This isn't advertised as working on eyeglasses so perhaps this review isn't fair. I scratched my multifocal glasses badly to the point where they were unusable, so I gave this a shot. After two applications, the scratch is greatly minimized. It's still there but I can wear the glasses and I think I'll get used to the scratch. The antireflective coating on my glasses doesn't appear to be damaged. I'm going to apply this stuff a couple more times, see if it helps.I will update if it damages the eyeglasses or the scratches become invisible.
Order it the second after you buy a Speedmaster

5.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Royko on April 9, 2016
I have to admit, I was on the fence about buying an Omega Speedmaster Pro (Moonwatch). My main concern was the acryllic crystal, which has a reputation for being easy to scratch. As it turns out, that reputation is well deserved: It is easy to scuff the crystal on a Speedmaster. Fortunately, polyWatch is the magic fix.Yes, there are a lot of products that claim to remove scratches or restore original finishes on all kinds of surfaces. But polyWatch actually works. In fact, I can't think of another product in this category that even comes close to working this well. Just squeeze a few drops on to the end of a Q-tip and lightly buff the surface. Wipe away. No more scuff. No really: The scuff is completely gone.If you are on the fence about buying a watch with an acryllic crystal, don't be. Buy yourself some polyWatch and you can make any scratches just disappear.
Success!

Worked great on my vintage 1969 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date. Deep scratches from accidentally brushing against a brick wall are virtually gone after applying with lots of pressure. Worked better than I expected!
Since there is not other product in the market that get you a great results this product is good for what you pay

I fallow the general instructions for this product to see if this will take away the scratch but it won't do the 100% reduction, You will have to use the whole tube which is not that much. Since there is not other product in the market that get you a great results this product is good for what you pay. The Only one component that will make this product to excel with others is the fiber glass that is part of the chemical component. I will buy it again but you wont see a great results by using your finger to get rid of the glass scratch. You will need to use an electrical polisher since this will have more rpm ( Revolution per Minutes ) and this will help to fill in and remove 90% of the imperfection.
Worth its price and then some.

This thing really is magic. I'm pretty OCD about my watch crystals and specially with my Hesalite speedy. The other day me being a klutz scratched the Hesalite by friction against a wall. I was super worried I was going to have to send the watch for crystal replacement but luckily people recommended this product and being so cheap gave it a go. So glad I did. It removed all the scratches and crystal looks as new. I'm not exaggerating I feel like one of those goofy infomercial actors when I saw the difference. Absolutely worth the price and if you're OCD, it will be one less head ache.
fixed my fitbit

5.0 out of 5.0 by Chickodee on June 28, 2016
Used this on my fitbit charge hr and it worked great. Also got scratches out of a camera lens I have but unfortunately it did not remove all of the scratches but I had some MAJOR deep scratches in it so I can't complain I was glad it did so well already. It does take a little work apply and rub in then repeat until you get the desired results. It might not remove all the scratches but this stuff made a major improvement on my items it was definitely worth the money to try and fix my items and it sure helped. I would recommend this product to anyone.
