  The LOHAS LED Nightlight square unit which has an External Photo Electric sensor on the top edge which gives it good light sensitivity. It does light up in the evening when there is some daylight left. It is at an angle to the window on the front of the house it is positioned at 90 degrees with the window and the sensor is pointing up (Probably to more easily detect the overhead light turning on which is a good way to do it, but is not good for looking out the window. I works really well on the side wall in the front bedroom, because it is also providing light to the hallway also. I also bought the rounded top version and was pleased with it. The Light Output on both units is excellent. Operation is good. I haven’t confirmed Motion Detection on either unit. I will check that soon. (See the other review.). Read the About This Item for more details. I agree with Bolo Choice and the description. (It’s as advertised) I may buy another for other areas of the house.

  Highly recommend.My set of four, red nightlights arrived in good condition. I purchased them at a discount from the Bolo warehouse (probably a return). I don't like turning room lights on in the middle of the night, and occasionally walk into a closed door or, even worse, walk into a door edge on (yes, that hurt). Room lights would make moreawake and make it harder to fall back to sleep. These red lights are almost perfect for what I need -- bright enough to see, not bright enough to read. They are very noticeable (as almost any night light) during the day. It would help, if there was thin opaque white filter (e.g, cut from piece of tissue paper) over the red so it wasn't so visible in the main rooms. Also, sometimes the lights come on in the dimmer rooms when not needed. An adjustable level would be nice. I'd be glad to pay another dollar.

  These lights work perfectly. They're a bit too bright for my use, since my idea was to plug one in above my bathroom counter and it's too bright for using the restroom in the middle of the night if you're trying to avoid bright light. However for almost any other purpose, such as lighting a hallway (or if you want a bright room at night) these lights are great.

  I really like how this product changes its brightness with the ambient light around it, you can definitely tell when it brightens after we turn off all of the lights in the apartment. It's perfect for our bathroom when I have to get up to go pee at night. Would absolutely get more of these if needed in the future, it's also very stylish which I like.

  These are perfect for a little extra light without blinding you or waking others up. We use them as night lights for both our children and in the bathroom so we don't have to turn lights on in the middle of the night. They sense the darkness very well and last a long time.
