      The original came with a plastic sliding system (pictured on the left) not the basic metal rings (pictured on the right) That made it better. I still am happy to have it. These were the ultimate folder and paper organizer. I still write things out rather than type on the computer. It won’t be facing the rigors of being in a backpack or school locker. Definitely retro! even though it is a bit more reproduction.
