  Feels good, smells good & leaves a nice "sheen"

  Who doesn't love a good, firming body moisturizer with ceramides & peptides? Yes, please! This body lotion is creamy yet light. It's non-greasy and absorbs very quickly, leaving a perfum-y, but not overly obnoxious scent on the skin. I actually like the scent as it tends to dissipate while still remaining noticeable on my skin with time. I haven't used this lotion long enough to speak to its firming claims, but can attest to its moisturizing abilities, which it does well. For me, this is one of those products that will only use for special occasions for 3 main reasons: 1) Finish - This lotion leaves a slight sheen to the skin that is very flattering and in no way "in your face", like glitter. It's very subtle and I can see this looking extremely good on tan skin, especially legs for that extra "oomph." This was not a feature that I was expecting from this lotion and was a pleasant surprise. It's an a-la "Jlo" glow!! This is, however, not an effect that I would reach for for everyday wear. Not seeking to flash highlighted skin, no matter how sexy, to my co-workers on a video conference during work, but for a night out during the summer months with some sexy shorts, hell yeah! 2) Scent - while I do like the scent I usually prefer unscented lotions for everyday wear. 3) The elephant in the room - PRICE (hence the 4 stars). At the time of this writing this lotion is $60 for 6.8 oz, a standard size for body lotions. Would I pay $60 for another tube when I run out - no. It's a nice lotion if you have the budget for it. I DO have the budget for it but cannot justify spending this amount on a body lotion when there are a zillion others on the market that can hydrate my skin just as well at a fraction of the price. It's a lovely lotion in a lovely bottle, but that's not enough to sway me. I can add a liquid highlighter and wear perfume if I so choose to mimic the effects of this lotion, so I'll save this one for those special occasions when I want that JLo glow. Now if only this lotion can make me look like Jlo I'd spend a zillion times more! 😊

  Has Ceramides which is a PLUS⭐️👍

  Products with Ceramides I am always willing to try. Ceramides, fatty acids, are lost over time. Supplementing your skin with extra ceramide can minimize the effects of aging.I’ve only just started using this moisturizer and can say that it does leave my skin moisturized, smooth, and healthy looking. No sticky residue or oily feeling after I applied. Definitely do not over apply it. As I use this over the next few weeks, I will be UPDATING this review.I apply after I have showered. I suggest applying the moisturizer as soon as you get out of the shower so it absorbs better.THOROUGHLY SEALED: 👍It is important to me how manufacturers seal & ship their products. This item was THOROUGHLY SEALED, as you can see from the pictures. To me, this means the manufacturer cares about its products.⭐️EXPIRATION DATE: NONE!I always check for expiration dates before using, ESPECIALLY with any skin care products. The expiration date tells me whether a product has been sitting somewhere on a shelf or an idea of when manufactured for distribution. This product does NOT have an expiration date most likely because it is not required to.It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives exceptional results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

  Works great, but would JLo agree?

  This JLO Beauty Smooth + Seduce™ Hydrating Body Cream feels very nice and smooth going on your skin. It is enriched with Heptapeptide-7 + Ceramides, which the product description says hydrates. contours, smooths and firms skin.I used it on my flabby, cellulite-ridden legs, and they felt nice and smooth after the application. Can't say how much firmer my legs were after that, but they did FEEL firmer, as least from the inside. As to whether the cream actually firms, I feel it does, but maybe not so much anyone but you notices.As nice as this cream is, I am bothered by the fragrance, which I would call "eau de suntan lotion." The cream is sort of cream colored, so it looks a little like suntan lotion too. This is not a bad smell, but not something I want to be known for.To sum, the cream seems to work as described, and it's lovely except for the suntan lotion smell. I'm pretty sure JLo would agree.

  ceramides

  I'm a big JLO fan so of course I had to try this. Do I look like her yet? Even a little? I like using lotions with ceramides to protect my skin. This lotion is beautifully packaged. It smells pretty good, not amazing but pleasant. The lotion is a nice latte color. It soaks in well without leaving my skin sticky. It is a good everyday moisturizer, but I would call it a lotion rather than a cream.

  Moisturizing body cream

  I like the scent and moisturizing capabilities of this body cream. I've heard good things about Ceramides and caffeine to help firm and nourish the skin but at $60 a tube I'm not too fond of the recommendation to 'slather it on morning and night'... not to mention the shimmery effect of this lotion. This is a lotion I might use when I go out, along my cleavage, collarbone, arms and legs, to highlight those areas, but it isn't something I would use every day. 4 stars
