  I love the lock feature!

  We got the shock collar to help train our dog because she was running away. Also, we figured we could use it to start help leash training them. I start a running, and we have some trails behind our house so it made it very very doable to take our dogs with us on these runs, because it was very easy to correct them. I love the noise feature the loud beep And then the buzzing and then of course the shock we don’t use the shock as much but letting them know the noise first, and then being able to vibrate, and then, of course, for a less alternative as the shock was amazing I have a toddler and having a lock feature, for the remote itself has been absolutely a godsend . We don’t leave the collar on the dogs all the time, but regardless, if we did having that lock feature would be a must because my daughter gets in everything so with her getting in my pocket and pulling out the remote, we don’t have to worry because she’s not going to accidentally hurt the dog which made us a lot more comfortable buying it and the other plus side for us was the rechargeable batteries you wouldn’t believe how many batteries she would go through with the shock collar because we bought a much different brand before and this one. I mean the battery life on it is absolutely extensive I’ve only had to charge it twice and I’ve had it for you no months now and even so we went through packages of batteries for our other collar. This one literally all we do is hook it up. It’s amazing I absolutely would recommend it for those features alone if you’re looking for a beginners in intro into training, your dog with anything you can turn the buzz in the shock all the way down to a very very low level it goes all the way up to 100 for I would assume a last resort, shock or for more aggressive Cases with we haven’t even had to use that so I think it’s an all-around amazing item that all families could use on any type of dog for us 10 out of 10 would recommend an absolutely would buy again .

  Incredible

  I have two dogs who took the barking at the neighbors dogs incessantly. We would yell call them to come in, and they just wouldn’t listen. One of my dogs is just a small Maltese. The other dog is an Australian Shepherd, and still a puppy under a year old. These callers were a godsend. The little dog took nothing with the color tone and a vibration was all it took for her to get the lesson and now all I have to do is speak to her. The shepherd I don’t know if it’s a size or if he’s just that stubborn has taken a bit more. If we’re just trying to teach in the house doing corrective actions on just good discipline. It doesn’t take much more than the tone or the vibration. However, if he is barking at the neighbors dogs, he gets extremely hyper and adrenaline filled and nothing seems to be getting to him. I have used the shock collar function but have had to turn it up incredibly high to get his attention when he is in that agitated stage. If it’s not high enough, I can see that it’s affecting him but he just ignores it and does what he wants to do. I’m still learning the best way to use this color for him but so far I swear it’s a godsend and worth every penny. With my little dog trained so quickly with it I said if all it took was spending $50 to get her to behave it was worth the $50.

  Works great for our two large dogs!

  We're using these on our malamute and our long haired German shepherd. The longer prongs are long enough to get through their thick coats. We've been using them for about a month and have noticed great improvement with their behavior. The highest we've had the static set to is 25, but that is rare. They usually sit at 20. We haven't noticed any kind of irritation on their skin or fur. Rarely have to charge the collars and remote. They only take two hours to fully charge from zero. When used with proper training technique, these can be very effective in correcting behavior. We hardly have to use them at all anymore. I like that they pair to a remote so that other dogs barking doesn't cause their collars to go off and we can choose whether or not they need it. The only thing that's inconvenient is that I can't change the number of collars it switches between. I have two dogs on the same remote, not four, so I have to press the button several times to get from #2 and cycle through #3 and #4 to get back to #1, and don't get to use it as quickly and efficiently as I'd like to on #1 if I used it on #2 last.

  Great Training Tool

  Really helped us train our Great Pyrenees puppy. We rescued him at about eight months old and he pretty quickly developed a digging behavior in our backyard. Despite our best efforts (distraction, redirection, scolding, play and exercise, and even buying a sandbox as a positive place to dig) he just wouldn’t stop. Even worse, he learned to avoid us when we would come outside with him.After about a week of using the collar, he stopped this behavior entirely. We found a beep and then a shock at level 10 would stop him, and after only a few shocks he would stop immediately with just the beep. Now we can use the beep only to stop him when he’s engaging in bad behaviors.A couple things - holy mother of god the battery life is amazing! I can’t believe it. We charged the collar and remote fully when we first got them and it’s now been over a month of daily use, and both the collar and remote are still showing full bars of battery! How is that even possible??Also when trying to find the appropriate level of shock for your dog, try the different prong options first. I originally used the longer prongs with the silicone tips and our dog wasn’t responding. I increased the level all the way up to 70 and he still didn’t respond. I then took off the silicone tips and tried again, and he nearly jumped out of his skin at that level of shock…. Lol sorry bud.. we settled around level 10 and that seems to give him a good jolt without making him yelp or anything.Would definitely recommend!
