  Good value, not too overloaded with caffiene

  I drink more energy drinks than I should. Sugarless energy drinks are way better these days than they used to be. Rockstar sugar free (white can with gold star) was my go-to for the longest. Just felt like the energy I got was the best, tasted better, lower price, and less crash than redbull, monster, etc.I tried that 16oz ZOAs when they were first released and the the flavors all tasted a little funky to me. Id rather lean toward drinking something healthier and give up a little taste--so not a huge deal... but I still preferred rockstar. Plus Ralphs would almost always have them on sale for 1-1.50 each.Recently tried Alani Nu. The taste of those are great (can't believe they're sugar free). The energy is great. But theyre about $3 each and I don't like regularly drinking 200mg of caffeine so I probably won't keep buying.I bought these 12oz ZOAs when they were 50% off. Not a huge fan of the pineapple coconut flavor, but the Tropical Punch is great. I think it's just a flavor that works much better to mask the flavor of a sugarfree energy drink. Even at full price, its a good value. So this is my new go-to for now!

  Great Flavor Ruined by Horrible Smell

  So I shared the can with a friend; poured out half into a cup and I kept the other half in the can. The flavor was good and the energy effects were great and what I was expecting/hoping for. However I smelled something funky every time I took a sip. To me, it smelled like canned cat food. I thought it was the can so I tried wiping the can more (as I always do when drinking canned drinks) to no avail, the smell stayed.I hadn't mentioned my opinions yet to said friend, but I had asked her what she thought of the drink. She said there was a weird smell or aftertaste that she couldn't quite pinpoint. So therefore it was not just me, nor just the can itself. Unfortunately I can not return the product, but I am not a huge fan and did cancel my subscribe & save that I had originally set up for these drinks.

  Tried it

  I have not tried any of the other flavors except the cherry lime. It was exactly what I was hoping for flavor wise, and for a 10 cal - zero sugar drink, its very good. The energy combo did not give me jitters, and I do like the 160mg caffeine content, as I try to stay away from anything higher than that. Personally, found the carbonation to be mild, so when I first open the can I enjoy it very much. Eventually I find it goes flat, but probably won't be a problem for someone who isn't a sipper like me.

  So refreshing (White Peach)

  As soon as you open it, you can smell the peach. The taste is fantastic. I like that it contains BCAA as well as vitamins B & C! It is a bit sweet, but it isn't horrible. Definitely better than the first ones that came out. Will continue to buy for sure! Nice wake up, not like other energy drinks that shock you with a boost and jitters to then crash.

  If only there was a flavor that could overpower the vitamin taste

  I really love the vitamins and nutrients that are in this drink. That’s why I wanted to try it because it seemed healthier than other energy drinks out there. But one thing I cannot stand is a vitamin taste in a drink and this one definitely has a vitamin aftertaste. So it tastes to me more like medicine than an enjoyable beverage. So I probably won’t order it again.
