      Goodbye gnats!

      Somehow, my indoor herb garden got infested with gnats. Finally, I ordered these sticky gnat traps to see if they would help with the problem. When the traps arrived, I placed a single trap into one pot in which I am growing chives. After only one day, this solitary trap captured 26 gnats, and also a stink bug I had never even seen before. At this rate, every last gnat in my house should be gone by tomorrow. The traps, by the way, are odorless. Excellent product!

      Works great!

      I have been cultivating house plants for over 40 years. I recently used a new bag of MiracleGro potting soil and I noticed a white fuzz growing on the soil. At the same time I noticed gnats flying around my house. I looked up the problem on the internet and found I had an infestation of fungus gnats! Again I researched on the internet and found out that short of repotting my plants with new soil and trashing the old infested soil, I saw a suggestion to use sticky traps so I immediately ordered these. Those little gnat buggers have been sticking on the traps! HA take that! I still see a gnat here or there but if you look at the picture I uploaded you will see the enormous number of stuck gnats.

      It works outside well

      I seriously did not think I would need 24 to begin with, I was wrong. I am using them outside for plants and growing veggies and such. Did not seem to deter aphids though, but I have homemade spray for that and recently saw ladybug larvae outside so that will be taken care of shortly. I had hopes of catching whatever else is going after my mexican marigolds, avocado and other plants. I used 3 bottles of super insecticidal soap and not the results I was hoping for. Surprised I caught soooo many critters (not bees- which I have lots of) . I did put on the bottom of the plants and some I rigged for top inserted on a stick...and wow. Mosquitos (damm them) got stuck, few less to bite me even better. Flies (small ones) gnats and I think whiteflies too and some I'm not sure what they are. Already used about 18- and have to replace many covered by bugs, so I ordered a larger pack. So easy to use and versatile. It's nice to be outside again.

      Effective for fungus gnats, work inside & out

      These sticky butterfly traps are effective at catching fungus gnats and other small insects. I started seedlings indoors this year and inadvertently created an ideal climate for pests with too much moisture and organic matter in the soil. I use these sticky traps as part of my regimen to get rid of them (in addition to removing the top layer of soil, and using a hydrogen peroxide mixture on the remaining soil). The sticky traps help decrease the rate of breeding, as part of this regimen. They work indoors and out, as they are waterproof and the sticky substance remains strong in the elements. I am reviewing the item now because I have come back to buy another pack; I'm bringing my plants outdoors and want to proactively avoid spreading the gnats to other plants. Thankfully they are cute and don't detract from the organic vegetable garden vibe!

      Saw several bugs fly off it

      Moments after placing my first one I watched a Fruit fly land on it, walk around, and fly off. I’ve seen 3 or 4 land on the traps and get away. I’ve caught maybe 12 flies with 11 traps in 24 hours. I have quite an issue with fruit flies here still and I’m sure there are still many more to go that the traps have not gotten yet or have left fly away.They work but they don’t work great or as well as I was hoping. If this was around a huge swarm of bugs I’m sure more could be caught and is probably best for around plantar. In homes with a fruit fly issue though, where they can hide in multiple spots around a room, it’s not the best course of action. I’ve caught more with traps I made myself out of red wine and soap.I have used these to try and catch the flies myself one by one After sticking them on a flyswatter and that has made it more affective though.
