  Apple Pencil Shmaple Pencil

  I recently bought the 9th gen 2021 10.2” iPad which is not compatible with the Apple 2 pencil. I got this little stylus and the Apple 1 pencil to try them both out.This thing is a GEM at an amazing price!!! It is lightweight, comfortable to hold, won’t roll off the desk, easy turn on and off by clicking the top, has that “doesn’t see your palm thing”, no problem connecting, excellent writing and drawing, works with every app I have tried it with, and again, GREAT PRICE!! Comes with extra tips and a little tip cap to protect the tip when you are not using it. I stick this on the other end when I am using it. Fits in the pen space of the cover I got.I hated the Apple 1 pen in comparison. It was HEAVY! It wasn’t cute like this. It was pricey! I am a very strong Apple advocate and will pay for their quality, but this time not so much. I would love to try the Apple 2 pencil, as I hear it is great, but unfortunately it doesn’t work with this iPad.Please note that I am not an artist. I use this for note taking and maybe drawing some graphs and little pictures in my notes. I cannot speak for how this would be for artists, but the many YouTube video reviews I have seen in this give it a thumbs up!Get it if you need a pencil and don’t want to pay a hefty price.

  Works greatWorks as well as Apple Pencil for fraction of the price

  Works perfect in all my graphic design apps and all other daily task on my iPad Pro 12.9”. I cannot think of anything negative about this product except I’m not a big fan of on/off location at the end of the stylus. I am constantly turning the stylus off. Is very sensitive and if I’m just holding it in my hand, I have a tendency to roll or tap stylus out of habit of constantly touching the end of the stylus onto something and turning it off. But like I said that is no fault in product, Put more User issue. Easy way to fix it was by putting pencil/ stylus finger grip at the end of stylus covering it just enough if bumped, it doesn’t turn off.

  So close to five stars but the reason is not a major one

  As someone who has used an Apple Pencil I can tell you there is no drawback to using this instead. And given the price drop it's well worth it. There is only one problem I have had consistently but could very well be due to the way I tend to sit. This device is powered on and off by a simple tap to the top end. I keep accidentally brushing it against my arm and turning it off. That is legitimately the only issue I have had with it. If there is a work around for this such as something else I can purchase to avoid it or a suggestion from the manufacturer I will gladly take it and change the overall rating to five stars.

  My first iPad Stylus that works

  I’ve been looking for an Apple Pencil substitute for a while and tried the Adonis Pixel that was over twice the cost of this stylus and did not have the proper palm rejection to make it really useful. When I upgraded my iPad Mini from a 4 to a 6, I tried again but was unimpressed with the Adonit and looked again, found this pencil and, based on the good reviews, tried it.SO much better! Slimmer, magnetically attaches, and the palm rejection actually works so I can comfortably write without trying to avoid touching the screen.Very nice. I’m not sure how the Apple Pencil compares because I could not bring myself to pay the premium price. But this one is working great for me. Thanks!

  Seems to work as well as an Apple, 1st Generation Pencil, but at a far more reasonable price.

  I have a favorable first impression of this electronic pencil. It appears to work as well as the Apple Pencil, 1st Generation, but at a far more reasonable price. I use this with my Apple iPad, 9th Generation, that I have enclosed inside of an Otter Box Defender Case that has a screen protector. The easy to turn on pencil fits well into my hand with no sense of discomfort. I have had no problems using the pencil even though I have a screen protector. I like the fact that you receive 3 extra tips with this device. The device charges effortlessly and seems to retain a charge for a reasonable amount of time.The Otter Box case has a slot for a electronic pencil and this one fits perfectly into the slot. I have had no problems with storing the pencil in the case with the case lid being either closed or putting the case lid behind the iPad when using it.I will update this in the future if I notice any significant changes with the pencil.My only compliant so far: I wish they had a larger formatted instruction guide.
