      Would definitely buy again. Amazing quality.

      Amazing French press! Let me start by saying I spent at least a week researching French presses before buying one (this was my first one - I tend to overthink simple purchases sometimes). I kept seeing reviews from other brands of the glass breaking, the filter not working, plunger defective, etc. I almost purchased the bodum since it was the most highly recommended (budget friendly anyways) on every site I went too. I figured that glass breaking was just going to happen. I know they make stainless steel ones, but I was worried about it altering the taste, and the sound of metal on metal.I’m so glad I found this! The glass is pretty thick, not noticeably thin. Very easy to clean. The plunger/filter has a very nice design and a good fit to the edges. I’ve had no coffee grounds seep through (with course ground coffee, I haven’t tried with normal ground). I’ve been using it daily and no issues with the glass cracking or breaking.

      Beautiful & sturdy but paint chips

      I purchased this French press to replace my old one since the bamboo handle broke. Went for this metal one that was larger. It puts two cups exactly. I love the look of it & it is more sturdy than my old metal one, but the paint has chipped on mine. I got the black one & it now has chips at the bottom from setting it down and washing.

      Best french press I’ve owned.

      I’ve had this for a few months now and it’sthe best press I’ve owned for two main reasons 1. It’s beautifully designed and modern! I actually don’t mind leaving it out on countertop. 2. It really functions well and is super easy to clean. The glass slides right out to rinse or throw into the dishwasher. The mesh works really well and have no issues with stray coffee grinds mixing into my coffee. Would highly recommend this.

      Sensitive to Sound

      If you're sensitive to sound, this is not the french press for you. The filter slides up and down the metal and sounds like fingernails on a metal chalk board, and it crashes into the metal top with an awful sound. Now I know to look for plastic or rubber pieces at the top to dampen the jarring noise.
