Create an elegant sitting nook, screen an unwanted view, or simply add color and detail to any outdoor space with the Fusion Privacy Screen from Yardistry. Hinged panels allow the screen to be adjusted to fit most outdoor spaces. The screen combines contemporary and traditional design elements, creating a style unique to Yardistry. Built with 100% premium Cedar Lumber, each panel is made from horizontal wooden slats to give a sleek look. The slats are perfect for providing both privacy and support for climbing plants. The two planter boxes provide the base for growing plants and, when weighted with soil, the planters enable the screen to stand freely on any flat surface. The screen comes pre-finished in a natural brown stain and is made from exterior grade cedar, ensuring years of maintenance-free enjoyment.
Exactly what I was looking for.
I was looking for an attractive privacy screen & this is perfect. It comes untreated & in my opinion needed to be painted with wood protectant, which I did. The planter boxes are of course unassembled & once you figure out how to put the first one together assembly goes much faster. It takes two people to put these together as they are well built & quite heavy. I bought two & we put one on moving casters so we could change it's location. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Sturdy and attractive outdoor screens
I love these screens! They turned out so beautiful and add a nice bit of privacy to our outdoor space.
Very easy to assemble. Using a power drill follow the step by step directions. Actually fun to do. The cedar smell is wonderful. Placed it in front of my a/c unit and planted climbing vines. See pic. I couldn’t be happier.
Exactly what I was looking for!
After 17 years I am no longer looking onto my neighbors deck when I walk out of my house! We took two of the planters and attached them to our deck to create privacy. They match the style of our Yardistry gazebo privacy wall. I also added a before picture so you can see the difference.
very sturdy and holds up to the wind
While putting this together is a little time consuming, it is straight-forward with excellent instructions. This is a very solid piece. I live in a high wind area, and this doesn't move at all in the wind. It is the perfect outdoor screen for my patio.
I have gotten many complements on my new privacy screen. It's heavy duty & very sturdy rough sawn cedar. I stained it & coated it with spar urethane so that it would last in the weather.FYI...the package is very heavy & once you get it assembled you will probably need help moving it. I recommend assembling it in the spot you're going to place it if possible.
The "concept" is great - partition/divider with planters at the base. From looking at the pic I thought maybe the divider slid into and out of place so it could be folded up when not needed on our patio. When I opened the box and looked at the parts list and tallied 176 screw/fasteners my first instinct was to put a return label and return it to Bolo. But it's a perfect fit and solution for our apartment patio.176 fasteners later, I decided this was the most over engineered product I ever put together, but it made me think it's sturdiness would be needed in wind. Just as I was finishing putting it together, a gust of wind blew it over - no damage. I put it back up and put a bag of Lowe's rocks in each basket. We were away for a week and just came back to find it blown over, rocks and all. There's really only one workable solution now. I'm going to put 2 more bags of rocks in the base baskets and hope that's heavy enough to keep the product upright even in strong winds. Because it's designed as a one piece heavy object, now with 4 bags of rocks in the bases, it becomes impossible to fold it up and/or move it indoors when strong winds are forecast. So, five stars for the idea and design but zero stars for execution.
Worth the Money
These are also beautiful, elegant, and have stayed put in high wind gusts.I followed the directions just fine: the pieces are labeled. With one person reading directions and choosing parts and the other assembling, it went smoothly. I got three, and we flew on the second two.
