  UA lost a longtime customer. These are significantly poorer quality than original.

  Please note the two photos. One on left is from same UA Men's Tech Medium purchased 3-4 years ago and worn frequently in Fall/Winter. Pictured right is the one I just purchased for $40 on Bolo and received today. It was of significant poorer quality than the same product purchased years ago. This is unfortunately consistent with several other reviewers of this product. This will be the last UA product I purchase as their quality has turned for the worse. Do better.

  TERRIBLE quality.

  UA quality has really gone downhill. These are downright see through. The shirt is NOT being backlit in my photo, that's just regular lighting. If this was women's wear, it would be a scandal bigger than the Lululemon fiasco, because these shirts are far more see-through than those pants.Another reviewer said his chest hair could poke through; I thought that was an exaggeration but it isn't.

  Very Thin..... ON PURPOSE!

  I think other reviewers think this product has a different function. I'm looking for lightweight tops that protect me from the sun. With a UV rating of 30, this top is sufficient.This top, to me, is much like Under Armour "Heat Gear" line, which was designed for hot temperatures, with wicking, breathable fabric. I would not expect this product to keep someone warm on early spring days or late autumn evenings -- that is not its design.It serves its purpose well -- sun protection in hot temperatures. If you need a different function, buy a product designed for that purpose. It's unfair to rate this item poorly because it is "too thin" -- it does precisely what it is made to do.

  It's not 5 stars. But it is. Allow me to explain.

  DO NOT buy this if you're looking for something warmer to wear for the Fall season. The reviews that others have left about this regarding the material being paper-thin, are 100% accurate. I was hoping that I would somehow run into a different case, but when mine arrived (ordered the white/light grey) and I put it on, it was nearly see-thru. I bought this for a lightweight long-sleeve "warmer" that I could wear golfing in this cooler Fall weather, and there is NOTHING about this zip-up that's warm. At all.So why did I rate this 4 stars?? Well, because it's still a great mens' top and if it were spring, this would be perfect. It wouldn't make sense to knock this down just because I chose the wrong style of clothing for the season. The material though, esp by comparison to my Nike runner, is very thin though. So to that end, it really does feel like they cut some corners in the fabric department (HA! see what I did there) to on material costs and probably shipping too, but still charge a premium. For that, I knock those profit-hungry yuckamucks down for sacrificing quality for quality.

  super thin terrible shirts

  Ordered a couple of under armour shirts last Christmas for my son-in-law & they were really nice. I should of looked up that order to get the same in different colors or maybe this is just how they are making them now. This company should be embarrassed on producing such a lousy product. This latest order I received 1 long sleeve & 1 t-shirt. Both are awful. Super thin, cheap & not worthy of a gift. Don't waste your money.
