      My 4 week old is struggling with colic. He tends to feed aggressively (gets hangry!) and will gulp air if there's not a bottle in his mouth. These bottles definitely help prevent his feeding too fast nature and helps with limiting the amount of air he takes in when drinking. They are also good quality printing that doesn't rub or wash off too easily - we've had them about 3 weeks and regularly hand wash two to three times a day and they hold up very well. We haven't put them through dish washer though as we don't want to ruin the rubber on the caps.

      These are the only bottles our baby took to and they work great for venting air out. They are a huge pain to clean but once you get in the groove of using and cleaning these, you reap the benefits of a happier baby. This is a great set and comes with the extra nipples and travel caps.

      Dr browns bottles are my favorite for all my children, recently I had a preemie who doesn’t drink a whole 6-8 oz bottle so these are not perfect and I love the price because in stores they can get pretty pricey

      I loved the pink, it was a nice difference from the basic blue that had been used for the three older children. Dr Brown’s was the preferred bottle for all of my kids, despite the extra parts to clean.This last baby, however, decided she wanted to be different and actually seemed to struggle with the vented flow of the bottle, even on a preemie nipple. I took out the innards and gave it another shot, and her struggle ceased. And what’s REALLY great about Dr Browns’ bottles is that they work both with and without the innards.But not these pink bottles.Perhaps I got a package full of lemons on this, but EACH bottle refused to hold in formula without the extra pieces present.(“The treading looks different than on the other bottles.” -my engineer husband, upon examining the white vs pink bottle collars.)I have no idea if any of that is true, or even accurate, but I am a bit sad that I can’t use the pretty pink bottles for my last. Oh well.I’m still giving 4 stars, because even though I can’t use these bottles, I’m sure they work great otherwise like all the other Dr Brown bottles that I’ve used.

      These are the best colic bottle we have used. There is only two inside parts and the bottle and lid. Not too hard to clean.
