      Too strong!

      The media could not be loaded.  I have a 20 gallon tank and 5 black molliesThe wave maker I received is 30 watts which appears to be too strong for my tankAny recommendations on the best wattage for this tankThink I’m going to return

      FOR TANKS 75g OR LARGER

      Wow this thing is powerful! Tried it in a 36g bowfront planted tank, and it uprooted most of my tank and made my fish hide in low current spots. Moved it into my 75g planted tank and it’s better there but still very powerful. I will be leaving it the 75g but I will be doing more research into getting a better/slower powerhead to move water around effectively but not over-do it.

      Not my favorite

      The Pros: OT really moves some water! It was actually a little stronger than I wanted for my planted freshwater aquarium, but for a saltwater reef tank these are amazing. Size is perfect, very minimal And unobtrusive.The Cons: for the one I received the suction cup let loose after a couple of weeks and was barely hanging on again a week later. So I returned mine. Not sure if that’s a common issue but at least you’re aware of the possibility now.

      Well made continue running without loosing any strength and never turned off!!!

      The media could not be loaded.  The suction power of this 480gph is real good I have this for 2 and a half month now and only one time during this 2 month I have noticed that the suction cup was not holding to the glass tank but I think it was my mistake caused I placed it wrong for the first time. The value for the money was excellent, and is made of a strong plastic, very tough, well made. The power of the motor is incredible good, I had never tuned it off this wave maker scince I bought it and is continue running without loosing any strength. Is moving the water in a semi circular movement, in that way is moving constantly all the waste thru the filter pipe!!! I don’t have any dislikes at the moment of this review!!! And my aquarium is a 37 gallons tropical planted tank!!! For the cheap priced I had nothing to loose!!! I’m very happy with this purshased!!!

      Good deal

      For starters, the price is good. It’s effective and works well. Not the greatest quality but that should be a given. I would not buy this model for anything besides small turtles or baby cichlids or nano salt water tanks. It’s not that strong. I bought it for my 6in aggressive flowerhorn and he attacked it. He’s in a 45 gallon and it’s not strong enough, there are still dead spots. :| now that’s not the company’s fault that he attacked it but it did come off right after. And maybe I didn’t put it on hard enough but he hasn’t taken it down again yet. But definitely worth the money.
