  I normally wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 in womens and I ordered these in a mens size 7 and they work pretty well. They are exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable. The velcro closures are already at their max so as much as I would like to tighten the strap behind my heels, I can't but that's alright. The fit is still good. I have wide feet too and the mens sizes usually give a little more room in width.These are a classic design that I love. No frills or weird colors. Good old brown and tan. I can use them hiking too. Nice enough to wear with dressier things. It's so hard to find good classic sandals for women but I found them here. The only problem is that my husband has the same pair...only larger of course! We match when we go out!

  I bought these sandles for use on my porch and deck. My porch is a gravel concrete, and I wanted to use these to protect my feet.These turned out to be so comfortable, that I now just use them as my regular sandles on hot days. I think they're at least as comfortable as my Berkinstocks if not more.

  5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, arch support and nice padding underfoot.

  My husband had a pair almost exactly like these and they did that disappearing act that happens in your house in the middle of the night. He ordered this pair and brought home a pair from somewhere since he was going to be in a play set in Old Testament times. It was a difficult decision. He really liked the comfort of these as well as the workmanship. He ended up taking both to rehearsal. The director called it. Since my husband has narrow feet, these had Velcro and leather sticking out from the costume. He kept the other pair but I believe he liked the feel of these the best. I certainly did. If they were work boots, he would definitely have kept these. Nice looking, long lasting and cushioned sole. Can't go wrong. Pesky director.

  4.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable, but wear out way too soon

  Love the fit and quality of these Sandals. I can take them right out of the box and wear them all day. They are that good. Sell for a very good price, and I am currently on my sixth pair of them.There's the catch, love to wear them but bottoms will wear out within six months. This makes them very slippery on either wood, tile, and anything else which has a polish floor.Just received another pair as of yesterday, and I will continue to purchase them, there that good!

  I usually don't find sandals to be very comfortable, but I tried on a pair at a shoe store and found these to be surprisingly comfortable. The padding on the sole really was the selling point for me. Since I had tried them on at a store I found that my regular size 13 shoe size was a little too big with these sandals. So I tried a size 12 & the fit was perfect. The big toe is right at the lading edge of the sandal.I noted that other reviewers recommended going down 1 size and I concur.
