Barrina LED grow lights provide indoor plants with full-spectrum sunlight replacement. White color output not only could reduce your cultivation costs and prolong your flowering period, but also could protect your eyes. It is a perfect option for indoor plants growing. Compare to HPS/MH, Barrina grow light has higher efficiency but low consumption.
It is a necessary wave for chlorophyll, good for the photosynthesis, best for promoting the stem and leaf.
It is essential to a plant's early life for seed germination, root growth, and bulb development. It also makes the plant yield better results when flowering.

Electrical shock hazard
These lights work great as grow lights, but they're not safe. We got a 120 volt shock when a piece of craft wire connected to a grounding source happened to touch one of the mounting clips for one of these grow lights. Using a voltmeter, I determined that if the paint is scratched away from the housing of the light (which easily happens when you press it into the mounting clip) the bare metal of the housing is carrying 120 volts. A voltmeter between a scratch on the housing and ground shows 120 volts. That should never happen. These units are not wired safely.
The best grow light I own.
Before I start the review, let me just say I have 200+ houseplants, and more types and brands of grow lights than I can count. I have basically turned my house into a jungle, and there's plants and grow lights spread everywhere. It has always been a pain trying to find lights that will make the plants happy and blend in with the space. Well the search is over, and after buying a 4 pack I just ordered the 8 pack. The first thing about buying grow lights, is knowing the PAR. If the manufacture does not tell you the PAR, it is probably not a good grow light. This one has excellent PAR readings for its size/price, they are super easy to install, and they just blend in, it is not bulky, the wires are white, you don't have to choose between making your plants happy or having nice decor - with this light you can achieve both.I do wish the wiring was longer, but an extension cord solved my issue. I highly recommend!EDIT: The tapes are useless, it did not stay on a full week. Make sure to use the screws....
Nice lighting, easy install! Your plants will thank you!
Just got these three days ago. Installation was easy. Prayer plants seem to like them so far. Like the bright natural light. Will update with growth status soon.UPDATE 12/31/19: I love these grow lights and so do my plants! I have an orchid in full bloom, a rubber tree with tons of new growth and Pothos cuttings sprouting new roots like crazy. I will be buying a new plant stand soon and will for sure be purchasing more of these grow lights! I highly recommend these grow lights.
elegant, easy, well built
We're really, really, glad we bought these. We had previously had pink lights, and while the synthwave look was kind of cool, especially in an otherwise dark room, it just... wasn't that pretty. Under these lights, the plants are perfect shades of green, and feel like they're outside. The overall feel of the lighting is great: they make the shelf area very bright, but it's a very "soft" brightness. The extra couple of watts used on the non-plant-optimal part of the spectrum is extremely worth it if you are intending your plants to have any aesthetic value whatsoever. (Oh yeah, and after a month or two under these lights, the plants are still doing great!)The design of the lights is great; very simple while accomplishing everything they need to. I also appreciate the ability to run them in series with a single outlet plug; it allows for a setup with very little wiring intrusion. I'm not really qualified to have an opinion, but the construction and electrics feel perfectly solid; I'm not feeling worried about anything catching on fire, as I was with a certain other grow light we tried! The little hanging bracket + zip-tie setup they have is perfect for the metal bar grid type shelves we have. They also included sticky pads, in case you have solid shelves.I feel like I should say more, but not sure what else there is to say. Buying things doesn't generally make us feel happy, but these things certainly did! I found searching Bolo for grow lights to be kind of a confusing jumble, so if you made it here, congrats, you can stop searching!
WARNING!!!! These lights could be electrocution hazard!
I purchased these lights to install on a metal grow rack for micro greens. Was completely satisfied until my son touched the metal rack and received a 120V. shock!! (I confirmed this with an electrical meter) I have my set up in the basement on a concrete floor and I always wear sandals with rubber soles and never received a shock so was very surprised when my son told me he had.Having some knowledge of electrical and electronics, I did a little troubleshooting and found that the polarized plug was installed incorrectly and as a result the housing of the lamp which was touching the metal rack was “hot”!! I was able to swap out the switch cord for another since the set came with 4 switch cords and this solved the issue.Could have been a dangerous situation if the floor was wet and someone grabbed the rack. Buyer beware!!!
I’m using both the white and yellow versions in my IKEA greenhouse cabinet. Just a heads up, the white has a pink/purple tone that some people don’t like. I actually mixed mine to be a little easier on the eyes, 2 white and 1 yellow on the top two shelves shown here, just yellow on the bottom shelf. I love how slim and lightweight these are. I also like that they aren’t terribly strong so you can use more than 1 for a more even light distribution. I substituted the adhesive and clips for neodymium magnets (7lb holding strength) since I’ve heard the adhesive can fail in higher humidity. I simply used a gel super glue to glue the magnet to the light, I also learned when using magnets with these, don’t place the magnet where it wants to attract to the light, this interferes with the light and causes a buzzing sound. Overall, I’m very pleased with these, just wish the white wasn’t so pink looking. The plants all seem very happy and I’m even getting nice compact growth on my Ficus bonsai under the white lights.
Great for houseplants
I'm using this for houseplant lighting during winter. It's working perfectly! No overheating, not too yellow, not too blue, and not so bright you can stand to be near them.I'm using an adjustable utility shelf to hang these lights from - using the included zipties to secure the lights. They're kept on for 14-16 hours a day.I have phal orchids, triostar stromanthe, pilea peperomioides, philodendron, pothos, haworthia, basil, and paperwhites.Plants with higher light needs sit on a shelf with 3 lights, while the low-to-medium plants sit on two shelves each with 2 lights.Everything is thriving and happy.
Très bon produit
J'utilise ces lampes de culture dans une serre . Pour l'instant elles fonctionnent super bien ,mes plantes les adorent !
Très bien bonne luminosité pour les bebe
Works amazing!!! My plants absolutely love them. I do wish there was a timer on them but that’s a small problem that’s easily fixable
