  Very bright, My fish are happy

  My fish have light again! They are so happy to be out of the dark! I love this light, except 1 thing. The legs do not lock in place, so I forget and lift the light and the legs move around. I have not experienced any crazy algae growth like other reviews. I really like it!

  Very thin and light, so far so good

  I clearly haven't set up my tank yet, so I can't comment on longevity or anything, but I got the 36-44 inch light, and my dry run appears to be very good. No burnt out LEDs, looks like it will be plenty of light for my purposes (low light plants and general illumination, so too much light would probably be bad -- I think this will be about right once I have things filled.) No moonlight mode, but I never used that on my last tank anyway. The switch on the cord seems ok as long as it will be arranged without putting much weight on the weird connection point between the two parts of the cord.My tank is an odd size, it's 35.4" wide, and I expected I would have to alter the legs on this light based on the description of the length of the legs and the lamp itself. However, as you can see from the pictures, it's just right without any alteration, which is a plus for me. I got 33.5 inches on the body of the light itself when I threw on a tape measure, and the legs snug down onto the tank rim perfectly, with maybe a little less than half an inch of adjustment for the light to slide toward one side or the other. They originally came installed upside down to how I want them, but I removed them and put them the other way up, as in my picture. They slide pretty well, though the track may become dirty later with use, because it is semi-exposed.The thing that struck me most about this light is that it is super skinny, top to bottom (and also pretty thin front to back). It will really visually float, compared to my last one (though of course, the mind tends to edit out tank paraphernalia anyway).

  Very bright!

  Thinner than expected but very bright! Glad I purchased this light for my aquarium.I ordered 36-44” for my 55 gallon bow front aquarium. Fits beautifully.

  It works!

  This is a very bright light. 48" is spread across my tank at the moment. There is no 'Night Mode' as previous lamps I have owned from other companies, but that wasn't disclosed anywho so I can't complain.. Fish probably prefer darkness at night time anyway. When you do your tank maintenance wipe down the face/plastic where the lights are to keep everything as clean and bright as possible. On my old light, the power plug into the light itself became worn and corroded due to the water splashing, with this one, the power cable is built into the unit so I don't worry about that connection issue. It's a two prong plug so you can use with most (cheaper) timers out there.
