  sizes are misleading - order sleeve that's 1.6x larger than you think you need!

  Ordered some 1/2" DIAMETER (from the product description) sleeve. What that *actually* means is the sleeve is 1/2" wide in its flat on-roll condition.Diameter is, of course, the width of a circle, not the width of a flattened out sleeve. Practical upshot, when unflattened into it's natural circular shape (not counting any temporary expansion to be had by compressing the sleeve lengthwise), the sleeve has an internal diameter of about 0.31".So if you have a cable with connectors attached, and you measure the outer diameter of the connectors at less than 0.5", you might think the 1/2" diameter sleeve will work for you. Not even close. Ask me how I know!Practical upshot: You need to measure the diameter of the cable bundle you have (or the connectors if applicable), and then order sleeve that's 1.57x larger than that number.   We have 5 cats who LOVE to chew on the hose

  This really worked for me. Probably not what the manufacturers intented it to be used for but.... My mother uses an oxygen concentrator with a 50 foot hose. We have 5 cats who LOVE to chew on the hose. We used to go through 1 or 2 hoses a week, which gets expensive at $8.00 a hose. (She won't let me re-home the cats!). I have tried numerous products to cover the hose but nothing seemed to fit or stay or keep the little buggers from chewing them. I had a time trying to figure out how to run the hose through the sleeve but got it. The cats have tried and tried but their little sharp dagger teeth can't cut through it!! I'm thrilled. It's sturdy, cuts easily with sharp scissors.

  Perfect product to stop my cat from chewing up all of my cords!!!

  This product is exactly what i was looking for. My outside cat is stuck inside during the winter and gets very bored and decided to start chewing on all of my cords. He has ruined 5 of my them but now that I have this I have had no more problems. He has given up trying to chew through them cuz it's impossible.

  Great for audio cable management

  Used this to help tame cables for a "pedalboard snake." I easily managed to get 3 thick 1/4 cables and two thinner power / amp switching cables through it. The braid expands more than I expected. Probably could have fit all 5 cables through the 1/2" version, but that would have been pretty tight. Use a electricians fish-tape to make your life easier.

  Good / bad review plus some tips.

  Ordered 25 foot roll each of 3/4" diameter blue/black and red/black color.The good:Arrived neatly packed.Works as expected.Cheaper in price than techflex.Can't understand some of the poor reviews. Can't really blame the product because of your ignorance. You just need to be smarter than a piece of braided plastic tubing.If you have never used techflex or techflex clones such as this, here's what to expect:Upon initial inspection, you might think the tubing is way too small. Nope, it's not. Grab it with both hands about 2 inches apart. Without letting go, move your hands closer together. Notice how the stuff expands? THAT is how it works. That is also how you apply it to whatever you're putting it over. Think chinese finger trap.Along with knowing that, you will need some way to 'clamp' the ends down when you are done applying it. Shrink tubing works wonders. Get some while buying this.Last up is cutting the stuff. Expect the ends to fray if you don't use a hot knife. Buy a hot knife, hold an x-acto blade in a flame for a bit, etc... or, if you are cutting it cold, deal with the fray and when you are ready to seal the ends with shrink tube or whatever you are using, go around the fray and trim it off with scissors.The bad:Unless you are doing it for a reason, leave the coil in the bag (for the 25' section). It WILL unravel on you like a clock spring and is a royal pain to sit and coil it back together.
