      Just purchased mine and a simple squeeze to force air bubbles out and water in helped it sink down. I set two of the four up and left one unsqueezed. Over time it sank which is even better I feel like that one was fully saturated in the tank water. Anyways here in a day or two I’ll expect the bottom of my tank to be clean.

      I purchased these to use in axolotl tanks. I'm not sure how they actually function as far as cleaning the water. I haven't seen any real evidence of that. But they do seem to keep it aerated without danger of the babies getting accidentally sucked into them. Great deal for the money.

      This thing is awesome man! It sinks relatively quickly, and also has lots of power.I've been using one for about 2 years now, only cleaning it once a month. I'm surprised it lasted this long, and the filter is still running fine! Amazing product for anyone looking for a nice filter. It is a little big though.
