  So Far Best Tasting Marshmallow Root Powder!

  I started with this marshmallow root powder by Bulk Supplements, adding it to my coffee for Endometriosis & IC bladder issues. It’s light in color, creamy tasting, with a hint of a slight sweetness in my opinion & dissolves well in hot beverages. I tried another brand of marshmallow powder & boy was that been a mistake...it was too gritty & almost like tasting dirt in my low acid coffee. I’m right back to Bulk Supplements Marshmallow Root Powder & won’t try another now. Love that it’s organic too! Marshmallow Root Extract can be used as an anti inflammatory supplement, but also has many other health benefits such as boosting the immune system, dry cough, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, diarrhea, stomach ulcers, constipation, urinary tract inflammation & stones in the urinary tract plus many more. I use one teaspoon of marshmallow root powder, 1/2 teaspoon of D-Mannose powder, 1 scoop of L-Glutamine powder & 1 scoop of Collagen Peptide powder & 1/2 teaspoon of D-Ribose powder all in a latte cup for my one cup of low acid coffee in the morning with half coffee & half coconut milk creamer. This allows me to be able to enjoy my one cup of coffee a day, but I did have to build up to this as an IC patient, starting off with drinking a lot of water with D-Mannose powder for several months & completely cutting out coffee.If you suffer from bladder pain, intestinal issues, etc., ask your doctor about adding marshmallow root powder to your daily regimen depending on what medications you take, any medical history, etc. Hope this helps!

  Tastes surprisingly like marshmallow. I don't know why people don't make their own marshmallow flavored treats instead of toxic Rice Krispie Treats, which I be addicted to if I didn't know about the ingredients.So I added some to a muffin recipe to approximate to something marshmallow flavored. It was stronger than I thought. I forgot this was a concentrated extract, not powdered root. So it was really sweet despite the fact I didn't add sugar.I add it to my coffee and it's really nice. I had originally gotten it for family members to add to their coffee, and to incorporate in the products I make them -- since marshmallow root extract is touted as an anti-inflammatory. I haven't gotten feedback on that point yet.So: It's concentrated; it's finely textured, which makes it good for mixing in with skincare ingredients/food/drinks; it tastes and smells more 'marshmallow' than any "marshmallow" product I now realize was synthetic.***I would prefer different packaging; I'm hoping it's not aluminium. These packages don't close easily when the powders are so fine.So it's good to have a set of airtight spice jars to keep it. As an extract, I assume it needs the airtight aspect.I also wonder how it's extracted. I have never read on bulk supplements labels how they extract: water? glycerin? alcohol? What ratio?It's clear it's not organic...but that's how they get the price point.I made do because i needed to make a product for someone with inflammation and wanted the marshmallow aspect for same-day delivery. It turned out I rather liked the taste, so I suspended my disbelief for this one.

  Tastes pure. Soothes stomach problems

  Post 2 hiatal hernia repair surgeries, I have severe reflux and a surgically damaged Vagus nerve that causes my intestines to jump around like a paint-shaker and food to go straight through me. When stomach pain hits at hiatal hernia level, I take half a teaspoon of this powder and wash it down or not. Doesn't taste bad, so washing it down is optional. The main thing is that Marshmallow Root powder coats and soothes my stomach and scarred Vagus nerve so I can function. I still have to sleep on an incline to prevent reflux getting into my lungs, but at least this stuff makes fewer other meds necessary to slow down my digestive system. Wish I had known about this years ago. So far, all Bulk Supplements products I've tried have performed as they should.

  LACK OF PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND UNHYGIENIC PACKAGING

  This product arrived in a clean manilla colored envelope. Inside the actual Bulk Supplements package itself looked as though it had been recently dug up out of the ground. It was filthy dirty and sticky. I had to physically wash the packaging with soap and water. The cleaning process removed the cheaply made nutritional and instructional sticker. Upon opening I was surprised to see the marshmallow root powder was brown instead of white. If you google marshmallow root powder the images are of white powder. Since this was my first time buying marshmallow root powder I just wanted to make sure the color was normal.I went to their website and filled out the online form asking the following question:"I just opened and used your Marshmallow Root Powder for the first time. Why is it brown? Every pic I see of Marshmallow Root Powder shows white powder. By the way the packaging was filthy dirty even though it was inside an envelope."A simple and straight forward question and comment.The response was:Marshmallows today are only sugar-based confections made with water, corn starch and gelatin. That's why it's color brown or caramel-like. They no longer contain any actual plant extract. In Ancient Egypt, Marshmallow Root (althaea officinalis) was often boiled in sugar syrup and consumed for its unique, sweet taste and health benefits.No addressing my actual question nor addressing the disgustingly dirty packaging. This went back and forth several times until I finally gave up and called the actual company Hard Eight Nutrition (owns bulksupplements.com) in Henderson, NV. First question I asked "are the online questions responded to from an off shore customer service?" The answer was "yes", STRIKE 1! The next question I asked was "is the powder supposed to be brown?" The answer, "hold on I'll go pull the product sheet and see," STIKE 2! Being uninformed at the actual manufacturer is not encouraging when speaking to someone about products one ingests. The answer, "yes it's supposed to be brown." Final question, "why was the packaging so disgustingly dirty?" The answer, "sometimes during manufacturing the product gets a pinhole leak and it happens." STRIKE 3!!!! These are vacuum packed products. If there were pinhole leaks they would see it as the bag would suck air in. The amount of filth on the outside of this bag was no pinhole! It was dirty and very sticky. NO apology for the nasty packaging either. I've ordered several products on Bolo from BulkSupplements.com but it only takes one rotten apple, or in this case, one filthy package to ruin a relationship. The picture below does the filth no justice. You could feel it the moment you opened the outside protective envelope. It was sticky, grainy and disgusting. So, IF a pinhole is something that DOES happen on these supplements, how do we know the products are still pure upon arrival?
