About

The OSUVB16 is a 16" long, 36 watt, 254NM, high output UVC bulb with a 13,000 hour life. It is designed specifically to be used with OdorStop UV Air Purifiers. It can also be used for Honeywell and other UV purifiers that require a UV bulb with a 2G11 base.

      Not getting 13,000 hours, not even close

      They are rated for 13,000 hours but I doubt I get 1300. They’re expensive, I’ve had to change them a few times in the past year. Just had one that don’t even last a week. Not sure what the secret is to make them last that long. I have them running in my a/c supply plenum so...

      Make sure you buy the one that turns the unit off. The unit you need is the one that has the airflow sensor in the duct work, this way the unit shuts off when the blower shuts off.... Less money spent on bulbs.... Install note. Make sure if you have insulation in your...

      bulb burned out in 3 month

      the original uv bulb which came with the unit lasted a year,, the 2nd replacement bulb lasted 6 months and this last bulb lasted less then 3 months, will try and get a free replacement bulb since it suppose to last 13,000 hours this uv bulb burned out in less then 1000...

      Great stuff

      They work, period. You can immediately sense the differences in air quality after turning them on. I have been using them for a few years and I have no interest in experimenting with other brands.
