      Great coat for the price

      I was looking for an intermediate type of coat for the winter and this fits the bill perefctly. My normal all seasons coat is a padded wax jacket which on cold crispy day just doesnt cut it if your outside. My main winter coat is big bulky and super warm and sometimes too much for the weather in the UK. I Looked at several coats and this TACVASEN hiking fleece was exactly what I was looking for. The fit is just right, I'm a medium size, the sleeve length is good. The hood is detachable, which is handy. But there is no way to carry it with the coat, which is my only minor critiscim, as a lot of this style of coat have a hood that can be rolled up into the collar. I have still given it 5 stars as its a good coat nice and warm, fleece lined with padded sleeves and breathable.

      Good value for price, warm, but let down by hood straps

      For £55, not bad value, fairly thick and warm. Happy overall. BUT,... the top buttons fasten too tight around neck and the velcro tabs that are used to fasten the hood around chin are far too weedy and small. When attached (particularly with top buttons fastened) they are far too close to face. They just are not substantial enough to give you room and it's rather claustrophobic.

      Good enough for kilimanjaro!

      Bought this jacket for the night summit of Kilimanjaro. It was extremely cold and windy - prob a round -20 with windchill. Wore t shirt, thermal top and two fleeces underneath but the jacket was superb - kept me warm and the 40mph icy wind out. For the money amazing!

      For then price very good value

      I have not been the in the rain yet but for the price would think not very water proof, however for the cost cant go wrong. Very warm, well made very good buy, even if other buyers comment that some stitching has gone i can stitch and for the price cant go wrong.
