Amazing details, one of the best Lego sets you can find

5.0 out of 5.0 by Justin D on September 5, 2017
This is an incredible set. Not only is the concept fantastic, but there are small details hidden all over the place. Every corner has some tiny detail, and it's clear a lot of work went in to designing this set.

This is the second Ideas set I've bought (the first being the Yellow Submarine), and I absolutely love everything about it. It was a joy to put together, and it makes a great display piece.
Fun Fishing-Themed Set Originated as Amateur LEGO Builder’s Idea

5.0 out of 5.0 by 🌺 Lynne E. on March 5, 2018
This LEGO IDEAS OLD FISHING STORE BUILDING KIT (21310) is about the same size (12” high, 9” wide) as the big Creator Expert town buildings. It’s different, though, because one wall swings open for play (like a dollhouse). It’s filled with fun details—a store with bait and tackle boxes, a spearfishing gun, cash register, and fishing gear; a tower with a removable roof; a sea captain and other minifigs; a cat and a seagull; and more. There are 2049 pieces, so it’s a satisfying, interesting, entertaining build.

The set originated as a model submitted by an amateur builder (non-LEGO employee) to the online LEGO Ideas community. After it gained sufficient community support (currently 10,000 votes, which usually takes months), LEGO experts reviewed it, and decided to offer it as an official LEGO set.
I bought this for my 24 year-old best friend (Yes

I bought this for my 24 year-old best friend (Yes, you heard that right) for Christmas and he loved it! He's been talking about it for months and I surprised him with it for Christmas. He cried when he opened the present. I'm not as much into LEGOs as he is but I can completely understand what the hype is about. It has so much details and it just a piece of art. Get it if you can afford it!
A Masterpiece

5.0 out of 5.0 by Ted Wilson on October 11, 2017
I have every Creator Mod, all the way back to the Green Grocer and Town Hall... I know it’s an “Ideas” set - but boy, this is by far one of the sharpest looking lego mods I’ve seen and a very fun build! The outside is obviously beautiful and extremely detailed- well, the inside is equal to the outside! So awesome! So much thought and detail! Like I said, I have all the mods and over 100 lego sets in general. Well I’ve probably written a handful or less of reviews for those sets - so it says a lot about this set that I actually wanted to write a review.
Get it, don't even think twice!

I got this set for my husband for Xmas. It's absolutely fantastic! The construction is really fun and challenging. It took good 5-6hrs. The set uses a range of interesting building techniques. The detail is amazing. I was building the Ninjago Destiny's Bounty at the same time, which has an insane amount of detail but I think this one has even more. The playability is also very high, there's a wide range of items for the minifigs. I love the ageless feel of this set. It fits our Ninjago and City Jungle rescue builds perfectly. I know this was designed by RobenAnne, a LEGO fan, and he's got a few other models he's entered the IDEAS contest, notably the Lightouse. LEGO, if you're reading it, get that set in as well!!! It's so much nicer and versatile than the Creator modular sets! I should also add that this set is great value for money in terms of piece-to-price ratio.
A good rest of mind from study.

My first Lego project. I absolutely love it! No wonder why there are so many Lego fans around the world. The project is half way through. A good rest of mind from reading all these criminological theories for my PhD study.
Originally I was thinking about getting the lighting kit for it, but it's pretty expensive and now it's unavailable anyway... so I put in a string of LED lights that I previously bought. Not as nice as the lighting kit but still a nice touch to it!
Great fun to assemble. Fantastic detail.

This is the best Lego set I have ever built. The detail on it is just amazing. It has just over 2000 pieces. It took me over 5 hours. Not sure how much kids would enjoy playing with this set [my two, 14 & 11 have zero interest]. I am 47 and purchased just for the fun of the build.
Amazing sturdy set!

We got this lego set for Christmas and love it. It was really fun to put together and is pretty sturdy. There are several parts that easily come apart so that those playing with it can place mini figures inside. The tower has two parts that come off and can be replaced easily. The roof also easily comes off and the back swings open. We love the seagulls, cat, crabs and lobsters. It also comes with many accessories that are just cool such as nets, fishing poles, tools, anchors and others. This set has been one of my son's favorites and he still plays with it often.

If you are thinking of buying this set, I definitely recommend.
Awesome set

We bought this for our 12-year-old Lego-crazy son for Christmas. He saved building for the day after Christmas. He had it together by lunchtime, and we are marveling as much as he is about the detail, unique pieces, the way it looks and how you can move pieces to see more detail. We think this is a FANTASTIC piece! We feel it is well worth the $150 for the detail, features, and overall product. :)
Nice lego set

My 6 year old daughter and I started this the day after Christmas. We are still working on it. But we just do a little here and there. Biggest one to date so far. I enjoy doing them and my daughter use to love doing them. But the older she gets, the less amount of time we spend doing legos. We have done probably 20-25 sets and they are all displayed in the playroom.
