Before my baby I used to enjoy writing reviews but with the 5 month old I can’t find time - plus I’d rather take a 4 minutes nap. However, whenever I stumble upon super awesome baby product or terribly bad one I feel moral duty to share with my fellow moms and dads who are struggling searching for the best for their baby.
So here is my humble contribution

Before using Aquaphor we used butt paste, for 4 months to be exact. I was going with regular strength for daily use and then whenever rash would come up I would switch to extra strength butt paste. I would also apply some witch hazel, and try to rinse my baby bottom in the sink - like every diaper change - I know that’s just ridiculous. But the rash would go away and then I would go back using regular strength butt paste, after few days repeat the cycle cause rash would come back. Even if using only extra strength kind rash would still go on and off and warm water treatment was the only solution. So I started to think OK I guess diaper rash is a must, it just comes with the baby? And then....Aquaphor !! No rash whatsoever. 3 weeks straight no rash. Then just to test it out I switched to butt paste...what was I thinking? After 4 days my little one got a rash. I applied Aquaphor that night, the very next morning rash was almost gone. I mean, it’s just no brainer for me. I also love that this ointment is clear, it doesn’t leave white marks everywhere like the butt paste. I mean, all our changing pads got stained when using extra strength- so thick it cannot be washed. Also, Amazon the BEST price for Aquaphor. If you buy it with subscribe and save the price is even better. TOUCHDOWN!!! You can stop searching, use next five minutes to get a nap instead. You’re welcome :)
Dry Skin/Eczema CURED!!!

5.0 out of 5.0 by Savannah on July 13, 2017
This is the best possible stuff to use on gentle baby skin. My little one screamed every time I tried every other lotion- this fixes EVERYTHING!!! She started to get some dry spots and mild eczema and after putting this on every night, it was better in a matter of days and completely gone in a few weeks!!! It's now the go-to product in our house!
Adult Use for Hydrating, Healing, Chub rub magician.

So close to 5 stars. This product is AMAZING! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I don't love the slightly greasy texture and finish (it is not a lotion. Almost same texture as Vaseline). However, it is hands down the most hydrating and healing product I have ever used for my skin surpassing dermatologist prescribed healing ointments and steroids. My skin was WRECKED! For over 2 years I taught swim lessons for 20 hours a week in combination salt water/chlorine pool. I finally had to quit when a new prescription caused me to experience contact dermatitis every time I went in the water. The damage was extensive. Within days of using this product my dried, scaly, cracked and bleeding skin was healing. My arm hair started growing back within a week. My cuticles stopped peeling back from the nails. And the most unanticipated additional use is phenomenal as a chub-rub protector and healer.
Since the weather is getting nicer, I've been hiking anywhere from 2-5 miles a day. Unfortunately on this past Monday eve, I wore the wrong leggings and experienced a terrible case of chub rub. It finally occurred to me last night after 3 days of suffering that I could use this close to my privates because it's usually used for diaper rash and on babies sensitive skin. This morning when I woke up pain-free and to much smoother skin. Also, a little goes a long way. I'll update in the future when I run out but I imagine that's going to be some point next year.
Best diaper ointment I have found!!

So after trying Desitin (noooo, smells like fish), A&D ointment (never again) and burts bees diaper cream (eeeh ok) , this stuff produced miracles!! My baby doesn't get bad diaper rash, but it was hard to find a cream that wouldn't make slight redness worse!
Then I found this ointment!! It has a Vaseline vibe, goes on easy, wipes off easy, has great protection for my babe's skin, and no adverse reactions!! Love this stuff!! Also great for drool rash for a teething baby. It has cleared up my little ones skin in less than a day!! Highly recommend!!
My favorite

I am a new mom with a 2 month old baby boy. We received multiple different kinds of diaper creams from our baby shower and so have tried a few including two kinds of Burt's Bees and Butt Paste. So far Aquaphor is my favorite. We first tried it when we noticed baby was starting to get a rash between his cheeks. The rash stayed very small and was totally gone within two days. Since then we have been using Aquaphor every night before bedtime and after baths. Baby has not had any other diaper rashes. Keeps his buns looking nice and smooth with no irritation. It is colorless, odorless, and goes on easily. Wipes off easily as well. An added benefit for me is that I find cleaning up baby after a dirty diaper to be a breeze when he has Aquaphor on his skin. It has also helped soften and moisturize my hands which were becoming quite dry from all the hand washing you do with a new baby.
as recommended by our pediatrician

We used this, as recommended by our pediatrician, to apply to our daughter's very new, very sensitive, and very dry skin. It works well! We typically apply after her nightly bath, but when her skin is extra dry, we also apply in the mornings. Just be warned that your child will feel like a little greased pig afterwards! This is why we typically do it at night, so that by the morning it has all absorbed and she isn't so slippery/greasy, but it can make it a little tough to wrangle her into her PJs. It also leaves my hands feeling quite greasy, but does pretty easily wash off.
helped with daughters psoriasis on eyelid

helped with daughters psoriasis on upper eyelid. We have tried everything under the sun for a year. Different diets, different skin care routines....etc We added Aquaphor advanced baby to routine and within 4 days, her psoriasis had healed. We are still doing antihistamines, neutrogena facial hypoallergic cleanser and aquarphor advanced baby but have stopped zinc oxide and salicylic acid to her daily routine
No More Cradle Cap!!!!!

5.0 out of 5.0 by StylishVixen on November 13, 2016
My baby suffers from Cradle Cap which in turns makes almost his whole body break out. I've tried everything the Pediatrician suggested. (Coconut oil and almond oil) Brought Organic Coconut oil and let it soak in then, brushed It while I shampooed his hair. It was a waste of money and it made my baby bald. My OBGYN suggested to buy this cause it worked for her baby. Being skeptical I brought the small tubes on Amazon. Within two days the scabs and rashes started clearing up. Once I finished the small tubes the cradle cap started to come back a few weeks later. So now I'm back on here to buy the jar. This is a God Send. Plus this is the cheapest price by far for this. I went to target and it cost $5 more.
Great for a skincare addict

I love this stuff! It's my last step (occlusive step) after my nighttime skincare routine. It locks in moisture, soothes, protects. It heals chapped lips overnight. Dryness doesn't stand a chance! It heals blemishes SUPER fast, once they are flat I will apply a big blob to it overnight, and it keeps the wound soft, scab free, and redness is reduced by a lot by the next AM. This jar also lasts a REALLY long time. I actually only bought a new one because I had dropped mine a while ago and it cracked on the bottom. I taped it up with some clear tape, but once I get close to the bottom I will open my fresh jar, so I don't risk putting contaminated ointment on my face :P
Anyone that has a baby needs this!

This is a great way to keep diaper rash away and help heal any skin woes too. We used this a big box store brand intermittently since my daughter was 1 week old and she is now 13 months and hasn't had a day of diaper rash since we began using it. We found this product though the recommendation of our pediatrician and am so glad she told us about it as it has saved my baby from ever having diaper rash beyond her first week of life when we found out she was allergic to most butt creams.
