Lasting moisture

I have a LOT of allergies. It's embarrassing. That said, this balm is amazing. I'm an ex-Chapstick user. It was a little waxy, but it got the job done. Now my allergies won't allow it. So I found Aquaphor. When you first put it on, it's a little slippery, but it absorbs and disappears, but it's still working. With Chapstick, I was reapplying every hour, but Aquaphor lasts for hours. In a 8 hour shift, I reapply once. That's awesome. There's zero flavor, not even a chemical taste. One tip, don't leave it in a warm place, because it thins and gets runny.
I'm addicted (seriously and probably literally)

Best product ever for chapped lips. I always keep one in my purse (and freak if I forget it), car, bedroom, vanity area, and one or two elsewhere in the house. And I take it to the dentist for use during dental appointments. Really great for getting through the long crown appointments!

I like this small size, considering how many tubes I keep going at once, and I have a small purse. Many grocery stores and drug stores have this, in the small size, but they are usually so hard to find, ranging from being in the first aid section to the checkout area, to who-knows-where-else. Much easier to order from Amazon.
Very soothing gel

5.0 out of 5.0 by D. Gilbert on March 19, 2017
I use this gel to put on the outside corner of my eyes at night. In the winter I have been getting dry, irritated, itchy and watery eyes. I bought
Dr. Fischer's Premium Eyelid Wipes and those have helped a lot. Sometimes the corners of my eyes just feel like the are burning and watering so I have been putting a small amount on the outside of the corners and this helps to soothe them. Also, I have used this on my lips.
The best for chapped lips..

Absolutely the best moisturizing lip treatment I have every used! My lips are soft and lush after using this. I put it on my nieces extremely dry and chapped lips one day and it immediately added the moisture needed to make her lips look healthy and soft. That really amazed me - I never had lips that dry before (she is always licking her lips and it was winter) but when I noticed she did I thought what a perfect unscientific study I could perform myself! The way it moisturized her lips was incredible. I have not used it anywhere else but my lips (as of now) but when I do my lips look great and my lipstick or lip gloss looks 10 tens better on my lips! I love this product!!
Greasy and didn't absorb

Petroleum jelly. That's all this is. Might as well just buy some Vaseline. For something that claims it is advanced therapy it didn't do anything but leave my lips greasy. It felt like it just sat on my lips rather than absorbing it and it felt very uncomfortable and not moisturizing.
Yes, please

As someone who is always trying new beauty and skin care products, I was so surprised that my boyfriend recommended me this and that I didn't discover this on my own sooner. I am frequently applying lotion and balm to my sensitive dry skin, and I am definitely going to add this to my dry skin arsenal. I use this regularly on both my lips and cuticles. I have found that the texture of my lips has actually improved greatly: if I miss one night without Aquaphor, I will wake up with scaly lips. I really hate using cuticle oil at work and hand lotion doesn't cut it; Aquaphor isn't oily like Carmex, heavy like plain petroleum jelly, or messy to apply and gets absorbed rather quickly. I'm glad there is a Subscribe & Save option, as I will be getting more of this instead of cuticle oil, Carmex, and other lip stuff. For around $5 for the 2 pack, it is a bit pricy for 0.7 oz of product, but I can't deny the quality. I will be repurchasing and highly recommend this!
I use it as an overnight facial moisturizer, works well

I recently had to rehydrate my skin, which had become damaged due to my own neglect of it. I'm in my early 50s and use this as a moisturizer, either during the day or at night, sometimes both. It's heavy yet light, and it keeps away my rosacea while allowing my pores to remain open and my skin to breathe. I love it on my lips and eyebrows as well, very moisturizing, very healing.
great size!

I have the bigger tube of aquaphor at home that I bought on recommendation of a dermatologist. I used aquaphor to help my skin heal when I had a couple of biopsies done. I found that the formula worked really well as a chapstick also! I have used it for several months now and it's the only thing that heals chapped skin, cuts, chapped lips, etc. These little versions are perfect to keep on my night table and my desk at work.
Amazing product

I started to take accutane, a highly potent acne medication that severely dries out your skin. My lips started cracking all the time and the corner of my lips would rip. It was miserable. I was using some lip balm but nothing worked.

My mom is a dental hygienist and told me to use Aquafor, she puts it on her patients lips before she cleans their teeth.

This stuff is amazing! After I used it I didn’t have anymore dried lips. I put it on before bed and kept some in my purse. It’s pretty thick but you will still need to put it on a few times a day if your lips were as dried out as mine.
Works well

You get two tubes for a great price! Each tube is a little bigger than your thumb but you don't need much! A little goes a long way. I keep one in my purse and one at home. I used it for my eyebrows after they've been microbladed (a form of tattoo) and they healed perfectly! It also works as a quick fix for dry hands!
